Williamson scores 100 again as NZ dominate SA in 1st test

Kane Williamson has scored his second century of the 1st test match vs South Africa as the hosts New Zealand further consolidated their position on day 2 of the test and has already taken a mammoth lead of 528 runs .

Starting the day at 80/4  South Africa lost Bedingham(32) early as he mistimed a pull off Henry . Keegan Petersen fought a lone battle playing an impressive and gritty knock of 45 before he was caught by Williamson off Ravindra.  The rest of the batting fell apart as South Africa were 162 all out . For the hosts Henry and Santner claimed 3 wickets each while Jamieson and Ravindra took 2 wickets each .

However New Zealand did not enforce the follow on and batted on in the 2nd innings . Latham (3) was lbw to Dane Paterson early but Kane Williamson again showed his true form and played another sublime knock as boundaries flowed from his bat . He was dropped at 61 and made full use of that life to score his 6th test 100 in his last 6 tests . Devon Conway (23) struggled again before getting out to Brand who also dismissed Williamson for 109 . Ravindra (12) fell cheaply after his first innings double hundred .  New Zealand closed day 2 at 179/4 and now lead by 528 runs
