Mahindra has launched Mahindra Thar Earth Edition today.  Mahindra says that the Thar Earth Edition is inspired by the Thar Desert and the SUV gets Desert Fury Satin Matte paint scheme.  Thar Earth Edition LX Hard Top 4x4 will be available in 4 variants.  Please find in detail  about Mahindra Thar Earth Edition.



 Price of Mahindra Thar Earth Edition



 Talking about the price, the ex-showroom price of Mahindra Thar Earth Edition will start from Rs 15.40 lakh and will go up to Rs 17.60 lakh.



 Design of Mahindra Thar Earth Edition



 Design-wise, the Thar Desert Edition looks similar to the regular Thar, but gets exclusive Desert Fury satin matte paint with dune-inspired decals on the rear fenders and doors, Earth Edition badging on the B-pillars, matte black badges and 17-inch front wheels.  Silver alloy wheels included.


 Talking about the interior, the SUV has a dual tone theme of black and light beige layout with dune design on the headrests, Thar branding on the doors and dark chrome accents all around.  Apart from this, it gets Desert Fury color inserts for AC vent, center console and steering wheel.  Mahindra also said that all units will get a decorative VIN plate with a unique number.  Apart from this, the option of accessories like customized front and rear armrest, floor mat and a comfort kit can also be available.



 Engine and power of Mahindra Thar Earth Edition


 Both petrol and diesel engine options are available in Thar Earth Edition.  The first is a 2.2-litre, 4 cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine that generates 130PS of power and 300Nm of torque.  The other is a 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine which generates 150PS of power and 320Nm of torque.  Both engine options come with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

Olympics24 : Ten men India edge out Britain in tie breaker to storm into hockey SF

  India reached the Olympic hockey semifinals by defeating Britain in a shootout. The match ended 1-1 in regulation time, leading to a shootout where India won 4-2. India played with ten players for 42 minutes to secure the victory. In the semifinals, India will face the winner of the Germany-Argentina match. A win in Tuesday's match will ensure a silver medal for last time's bronze winners at the Paris Olympics. Following the advice of video umpire , Indian defender Amit Rohidas was shown a red card in the fourth minute of the second quarter for unintentional stick contact with a British player’s head.
