Video: Girl's wet hair gets hardened in minus 30°C in freezing Sweden

 


The girl's hair stood up as soon as she stepped out of the house.  Piles of snow have accumulated on all sides.  She went out with open hair and  posted a video of her frozen hair on social media.  That video has already gone viral.



 Temperatures are well below freezing in northern Sweden right now.  When the viral video was shot, the temperature was said to be 30 degrees below freezing.  The young woman with frozen hair is Elvira Lundgren.  This young woman, a popular net influencer in Sweden, said that she went out of the house after hearing that the temperature had dropped to 30 degrees below freezing.  She wanted to see what happens when she goes out.


 In the video, the young woman has shown her frozen hair as a crown on her head.  She kept raising and lowering her hair.


 The video has generated mixed reactions on social media.  Many are amused by the condition of the young woman's hair.  Many people are against going out of the house without adequate preparation and protection in this bone-chilling cold.  They claim that it may cause physical problems.  Some consider the young woman's feat to be a mere attempt to go viral.  Many have found it merely amusing.


 Wednesday was the coldest day of the season in Sweden.  The minimum temperature that day was an astonishing 43.6 degrees below freezing  !!
