This record has since been surpassed, but he remains one of the leading fast bowlers in Test history.  In 250 ODIs he took 381 wickets at an excellent 3.88 economy and 22 average 


2. **World Cup Success:** A crucial member of the Australian team, McGrath played a pivotal role in Australia's World Cup triumphs in 1999, 2003, and 2007. His performances in these tournaments showcased his ability to excel in high-pressure situations.
