England batters find Bumrah in beast mode after Jaiswal double gets India near 400

 



Yashaswi Jaiswal pulled the entire team with the bat.  Jaspreet Bumrah stopped England for 253 runs with the ball.  India lead by 143 runs on 1st innings  in the second Test at Visakhapatnam on a day of domination .  India batted first and scored 396 runs.  England's innings ended on 253 runs.  Batting in the second innings, India scored 28 runs without losing a wicket.


 Bumrah took more than half the wickets in England's first innings.  He took 6 wickets.  England's innings ended in 55.5 overs under the influence of Bumrah.  They could not bat for the entire two sessions.  Jack Crawley scored a dazzling  76 runs and his innings was studded with glorious drives particularly down the ground .  Ben Duckett (21) looked good as long as he was there before Kuldeep dismissed him caught at short leg .   Ollie Pope (23) was settling down well though he was troubled by the spinners  . Finally Bumrah switched to beast mode .


Bumrah lined up Root (5) before he had him caught in the slips by Gill. Then came the searing yorker that smashed into Ollie Pope's (23) stumps and send it in all directions.  Bairstow (25) was trying to play an impact  innings but Bumrah induced a catch to Gill in slips off him . Stokes (47) who started to take on the spinners got a ball that kept low from Bumrah which rattled his stumps and stunned the English captain. Hartley was caught by Gill in the slips off Bumrah after a useful 21 and Kuldeep took care of Foakes (6) & Rehan Ahmed (6) . Finally Bumrah had Anderson lbw to finish England 1st innings at 253 .


Bumrah was brilliant with his 6/45 . Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets.  He was not in the team for the first test.  Kuldeep took place in the team as Ravindra Jadeja was ruled out due to injury.  Akshar Patel took a wicket.  Under their influence, England ended with 253 runs.


At close India reached 28/0 in the 2nd innings . They lead by 171 runs
