T20IWC : Jordan , Buttler power England to massive win vs USA & semis berth
England had to win against America to stay in the race for the semi-finals of the current Twenty20 World Cup. Not only did they win, they blew America by 10 wickets. Chris Jordan is the hero with the ball. He scored a hat trick.
Batting first, America was all out for 115 runs. Two openers Jos Buttler and Phil Salt won by chasing that run in just 9.4 overs. Buttler scored a half century. As a result of this victory, England's net run rate increased a lot. As a result, the last time world champions made it as the first team in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
England topped the group with 4 points after defeating America. Their net run rate is 1.992.
