French Open : Swaitek , Paolini races into the women's final with straight set SF wins

Top seed Iga Swaitek  reached the women's singles final at the French Open.  Defending champion Swaitek defeated No. 3 Coco Gauff 6-2, 6-4 in the semifinals.  Her opponent in the final is 12th seed Jasmine Paolini.

America's Gauff gets knocked over  in the semifinals.  Couldn't do the first service properly.  He also made four double faults.  Swaitek did not make a mistake in exploiting the opponent's weakness.  Gough was also lagging behind in exploiting break points.  The first set was easily won by the margin of 6-2.

Tennis fans did not expect Gauff to surrender so easily.  Everyone expected a hard-fought battle on the court of Philippe Santière.  The expectations surrounding the fight between two of the best players in women's tennis today were not met.  Gauff tried a little in the second set but was unable to challenge Swaitek.  The top seed advanced to the French Open final after winning the second set 6-4.

Italy's twelfth seed Paolini won easily in the other women's singles semi-final.  She defeated Mira Andreeva 6-3, 6-1.  Andreeva could not resist Paolini .
