Euro24 : Ericksen goal fails to get Demark win vs Slovenia , match tied 1-1

Exactly 3 years and 4 days ago, Denmark's Christian Eriksen suffered a heart attack on the field at the end of the first half against Finland in the Euro Cup.  His life was in doubt.  It was not certain whether he would be able to enter the field any day.  That Eriksen came down to play the Euros again in the country's jersey.  Not only is he fine 2-2, but also scored the first goal for the team in the current competition.  Even after that, Denmark could not win the match. They had to be content with a draw with Slovenia.  The first draw took place after five matches in the current Euro Cup.

Denmark dominated from the start of the game.  They are a very strong team.  It was understandable.  Under Eriksen, Slovenia was put under pressure by Denmark.  Christensen, Heybier, Bahra were launching attacks one after the other.  Eriksen had no specific position in this match.  He was playing all over the field.  Sometimes he was making attacks in the midfield.  Ever climbed the edge.  Again he was working as a forward.  That's why the opponents were having trouble stopping him.

The picture changed a bit in the second half.  Slovenia started to play a bit more aggressively.  They started to keep possession of the ball more.  Slovenia also got a few chances.  But they could not put the ball in the net again  .  Gradually Slovenia increased their intensity

In the 75th minute Slovenia hit the post .

In the 77th minute, fortune helped Slovenia.  Erik Janja's powerful shot from outside the box deflected off a Danish footballer and into the goal.  Schmeichel was stranded .  After equalizing, Slovenia stepped up their attack.  They also got a chance to move forward.  But Slovenia could not score the second goal.  In the end, the game ended with 1-1 goals.
