T20IWC : Afghan , Dutch win , Eng- Scotland rained off

In the latest round of T20I World cup games  , Afghanistan thrashed new boys Uganda while Scotland vs England match was abandoned by rain. Nepal bowlers put on a gallant fight to defend 106 but went down to Netherlands in the 19th over .

In Guyana , Afghanistan were powered by a blistering opening stand of 154 in 14 overs between Gurbaz (76) and Ibrahim Zadran (70) . Both got their runs in just 40 odd balls. However the lower order did not fire and Afghans had to be content with 183/5. In reply Uganda 's inexperience was exposed as left arm quick Fazlal Farooqui put on a show to claim 5 wickets with terrific bowling and got the player of the match award . Uganda was bowled out for a paltry 58 .

England played Scotland at Barbados but rains played spoilsport as Scotland batting first  powered to an impressive 90/0 in 10 overs with Munsey (41) and Jones (45) batting positively and impressively against a quality England attack but the match was called off due to rains .

No such rain interruption at Dallas as Nepal took on Netherlands.  Nepal batting first coupd get a paltry 106 in 19.2 overs with Rohit Paudel the lone fighter with 35 . 3 wickets each to Pringle and Van Beek . In reply Max O Dowd with 54 not out  guided the Dutch against a lion hearted Nepal bowling effort to see Netherlands through by 6 wickets  . Nepal dropped few cruicial chances , else the game could have been more tighter towards the end in front of a huge collection of Nepalese supporters.
