New Zealand demolish England in 4th T20I & draw series 2-2

Another emphatic performance by visitors New Zealand saw both England and New Zealand sharing the T20I series at 2-2 . England batting first at Trent Bridge scored a modest 175/8 largely due to Bairstow's firepower but the Blackcaps came out all guns blazing and chased down the target with 16 balls to spare.

Batting first England started rapidly with Bairstow in vintage form . He wasted no time in dominating the Kiwi attack  but lost partners Jacks (16) and Malan (21) both of whom had no momentum in their innings . Bairstow smacked 6 powerful sixes and 5 fours in his belligerent 73 off 41 balls  but on the other hand the Kiwi spinners Sodhi (2/21) and Santner (4/30) bowled superbly to restrict the middle order and even Liam Livingstone (26) could not get any momentum as England finished at a mediocre 175/8 .

In reply the Kiwis started off the blocks in whirlwind fashion as first   Finn Allen (16 off 6) started the onslaught and soon Siefert opening  the batting for an off color Conway ,looked in ominous mood . Daryl Mitchell (14 off 7 balls) started well but got unfortunately run out . However Glenn Phillips came out with full aggression.

Meanwhile Siefert (48) finally perished to a high catch but Phillips (42 off 25 balls ) and Chapman (40 no off 25 balls ) kept punishing the England attack and no one was spared.

Finally Chapman in the company of Ravindra (17*) ensured New Zealand triumph by 6 wickets with 16 balls to spare.  Santner for his bowling in the final game was the man of the match,  while Jonny Bairstow was the player of the series
