Famous actor - diector G Marimuthu passes away sudddenly
Famous diector- actor of Tamil film industry G Marimuthu is dead. He suddenly fell unconscious while dubbing for his television show named Ethirneechal at 8:00 in the morning . He was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital but the doctors declared him dead. The Tamil actor-director was recently seen in Rajinikanth's blockbuster film 'Jailor'.
G Marimuthu gained immense popularity in the role of Ethirneechal in the Tamil television series. He has also worked as an assistant director with film maker Mani Ratnam and others.
Film trade analyst Ramesh Bala confirmed the news of jailer actor's death.
Ramesh Bala tweeted, "Shocking popular Tamil character actor Marimuthu passed away this morning due to cardiac arrest... Recently, he had gained quite a fan following for his TV serial dialogues... May his soul rest in peace." Give!" In another tweet he said, "He was 57..."
The mortal remains of G Marimuthu will be taken to his home in Chennai for the last darshan. The funeral will take place in his hometown Theni in the presence of family members. The Tamil industry is in shock due to his sudden demise and many celebs and fans are expressing grief over the death of the late actor.
Mr. Marimuthu became very famous with his TV show Ethirneechal. He became a household name due to his character Adimuthu Gunasekaran in the daily soap. His popular dialogue 'Hey, Indamma' in the TV show became an internet sensation. He started his career in 1999 by playing a supporting role in Ajit Kumar's film Valley. Then, he worked as an assistant director in Aasi under director Vasanth. Ajith, Suvalakshmi and Prakash Raj were in lead roles in the film. In 2008, Marimuthu made his directorial debut with Kannum Kannum, starring Prasanna and Udayathara in the lead roles. He not only directed the film but also provided the script, screenplay and dialogues for the film. He took a long break from direction and made a comeback in 2014 with the film Puliwal. The thriller drama starring Prasanna and Vemal is a remake of the 2011 Malayalam film Chappa Kurishu.
Talking about Marimuthu's acting career, he gained popularity in many supporting roles. These include Yuddham Sei (2011), Kodi (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Kadaikutty Singam (2018), Shivaranjiniyam Ennum Sila Pengalam (2021), and the Hindi film Atrangi Re (2021), among others.
