Asian Games 2022 : Shooting stars lead India's medal hunt

 



India's Aishwary Pratap Tomar clinched a silver at AsianGames2022 in the Men's 50m Rifle 3P Individual.  With this Aishwary has won a total of  4 medals so far (2  gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze ). And this is India's 18th medal overall in shooting. 


Another historic gold from Shooter Palak in Women's 10m Air Pistol Individual event at AsianGames2022 along with Esha Singh who bagged silver in the same event. 


Meanwhile ,the 18 year old Esha Singh in Asian Games 2022 has been truly magnificent . Her list of shooting medals include : -


 Gold in 25m Pistol Team.


 - Silver in 25m Pistol Individual. 


- Silver in 10m Air Pistol Individual. 


- Silver in 10m Air Pistol Team.



 

Jotsna Chinnappa , Dipika Pallikal, Tanvi Khanna, and Anahat Singh for securing  Bronze medal in the Women's Squash Team event at AsianGames2022! This incredible quartet of seasoned and talented young players has displayed grit, determination, and undeniable passion for squash throughout their journey.


However news was not good on football front as India fought hard but went down  0-2 to favourites Saudi Arabia  to made their exit from the 2022 Asian Games .



However in hockey , India's quest for gold advances further with a confident 4-2 win over holders Japan  . India led 4-0 before Japan scored two late consolation goals .
