Australia announces World cup 2023 squad , no surprises

 



Australia has announced the names of its 15 players for the ODI World Cup.  Their special 15 are from among the same players who are part of the 18-member team that went on the South Africa tour.  Australia has deleted the names of 3 players from them.  Whereas the remaining 15 have been selected for the ODI World Cup to be held in India.  


 Well, even after the announcement of the names of 15 players, Australia's names are not finalized yet.  They can take advantage of the ICC rule, according to which changes can be made in the team till September 28.  Meaning, there is still a possibility that the luck of some players may shine and the hopes of some of playing the World Cup may be dashed.


 First of all, know the names of the 15 players who have been selected by Australia for the ODI World Cup to be held in India.  Apart from his captain Pat Cummins, there are Steve Smith, Alex Carey, Jos Inglis, Shaun Abbott, Aston Agar, Cameron Green, Jos Hazlewood, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc, David Warner, Adam Zampa and Marcus Stoinis.

 These 15 players were about to play the World Cup.  Now let us know about those 3 players who went to South Africa as part of the Australian team but are not coming to India to play the World Cup.  The first name among these is 21 year old Tanveer Sangha, who took 4 wickets on his international debut 5 days before the selection.  Apart from these, Aaron Hardie and pacer Nathan Ellis have also not got a place.



 After being selected in the Australia team, leading  spinner Adam Jampa has talked of winning the World Cup.  He said that we are all disappointed with the way we performed in the 2019 World Cup.  There is a fire burning inside us and we are trying our best to win the World Cup to be held in India.

Manipur violence : Video of brutality relating to women in Manipur goes viral
