Strong earthquake hits Jaipur in late night at 4.4 magnitude

 



Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, felt three tremors within half an hour on Friday morning.  The earthquake was so strong that people heard a sound like an explosion.  After this people came out of houses and apartments in fear.  During this time some boys were seen sitting in the street reciting Hanuman Chalisa.  As of now, there are no reports of any casualties or damage from the earthquake.



 Three tremors were reported between 4:09 am and 4:25 am.  The magnitude of the earthquake was measured between 3.4 and 4.4.  The National Center for Seismology reported that an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 was felt in Jaipur, Rajasthan.


 According to information, there were three consecutive earthquakes.  The first shock was felt at 4.09 am.  Its second shock came at 4.23 am and the third at 4.25 am.  People are seen asking each other how they are doing on the streets.


 Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje tweeted that strong earthquake tremors were felt in Jaipur.  Hope you all are safe.

 At the same time, local people are also sharing videos of the earthquake on social media.  In which the car is seen shaking due to the earthquake.  The earthquake was so strong that people heard a sound like an explosion.



 NCS said the third earthquake of magnitude 3.4 struck around 4.25 am.  whose center was at a depth of 10 kilometers.  The NCS tweeted that an earlier earthquake of magnitude 3.1 struck at 4.22 am with an epicenter at a depth of five kilometers.  The first earthquake struck at 4.09 am, with its epicenter at a depth of 10 km.
