Kalki 2898 AD Teaser promises a lot , film to release early 2024

 



 The title of South Superstar Prabhas' upcoming film 'Project K' has been revealed.  Its official title was announced amid much fanfare at the ongoing San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in the US.  The official name of this film is 'Kalki 2898 AD'.  Along with releasing the teaser, the much awaited glimpse of 'Project K' was also shown.  The teaser has also been released in India on Friday morning.  The film's title and teaser were unveiled at Comic Con in the presence of Prabhas, Kamal Haasan and director Nag Ashwin.


 Its teaser was released at San Diego Comic-Con with the title 'This is Project K: First Glimpses of India's Mytho-Sci-Fi Epic'.  It is a multilingual sci-fi film directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies.  The teaser states, 'When darkness envelops the world, a hero emerges.'  The glimpses of 'Kalki 2898 AD' show a war-torn world in the future, where people are ruled by dark forces and technology, and are treated violently and cruelly by the oppressor.


 Some lines have also been seen in the teaser video, in which it is written, 'When darkness engulfs the world, a force will arise.  The end begins now.'  In the glimpse, Deepika's character as a recruit in the army seems to be caught in an emotional turmoil.  While Prabhas' character appears as a brave warrior who rises to the occasion to save his world.


 In the teaser, Amitabh Bachchan's character is seen as a fierce, warrior wrapped in bandages.  At one point, a character is seen asking, 'What is Project K?'  Then its name is announced as 'Kalki 2898 AD'.  The film will release on January 12, 2024 in India and worldwide in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and English languages.  After watching the teaser, the enthusiasm of the fans has become very high.  At the same time, makers and critics including fans have high expectations from 'Kalki 2898 AD', one of the biggest releases of the year 2024.
