Video : Harmanpreet reprimanded , poor behaviour with opposition during photo session




Harmanpreet Kaur's behavior has become a topic of discussion in the third ODI match played between the women's teams of India and Bangladesh.  The captain of Team India expressed his displeasure after being given out LBW by the umpire in the third ODI and hit the stumps with her bat.  After this, while taking photographs with the Bangladesh team , she had passed sarcastic comments in such a way that everyone was surprised.  Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana Joti has raised questions about Harmanpreet's behavior 


 Sultana said after the match that what Harmanpreet did was her problem.  She also said that Harmanpreet could have behaved better as a player. It is said that when both the teams were taking photographs after the match, Harman said to bring the umpires as well as they helped Bangladesh to save defeat .  Hearing this, Sultana took her team back to the dressing room .  Sultana said that she did not know what happened but she did not like what happened.



 Sultana questioned Harmanpreet's behavior and also defended her decision to take back the team.  She said that she did not like her environment while posing for photos and hence she took her team back.  She said that cricket is a game of discipline and respect, according to the report of the website Cricinfo, Sultana spoke to the Bangladesh Cricket Board officials present there before taking her team back and then took her players back.

 Sultana defended the decision of the umpires and said that if Harmanpreet was not out, the umpires would not have given her out. She said that the umpire's decision is final whether you like it or not.

Meanwhile ,  Indian women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been penalised  showing anger on the field.  For this, there is news of 75 percent reduction in her match fees.  During the third ODI against Bangladesh, Harmanpreet not only questioned the umpiring but also hit the wicket with the bat showing anger after getting dismissed .  The match referee has now taken action on her behaviour  on the field.  According to the report of Cricbuzz, Harmanpreet Kaur has been found guilty of Level 2 offence 


 The last match of the ODI series between India and Bangladesh women's teams was played on 22 July at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium.  The match played between the two teams was a tie, after which both were jointly declared the winners of the series.




 India's captain Harmanpreet Kaur hit the wicket with the bat in anger during the match.  After this, she got involved in an argument with umpire Tanveer Ahmed.  Not only this, his anger did not cool down even in the presentation ceremony.  She raised questions on the umpire and their decisions  too.

According to the information received, 50 percent of the match fee was deducted for hitting the wicket with the bat  whereas, for the way she behaved in the presentation ceremony, she was fined 25 percent of the match fee.

 Harmanpreet Kaur has also suffered a loss of 3 demerit points.  In this, 2 demerit points have been imposed for her on-field actions while the loss of 1 demerit point has been imposed for questioning the umpire in the presentation ceremony.
