Samsung has launched Galaxy Z Fold 5 , Z Flip 5 in its unpacked event, Know prices in India

 


Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in its Galaxy Unpacked event.  The event was organized in South Korea on 26 July.  Along with these two phones, the company has also launched Galaxy Watch 6 series and Galaxy Tab S9 series.  Custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor has been given in both these phones.  While the Galaxy Z Flip 5 packs a 3700mAh battery, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 packs a 4400mAh battery.  Now Samsung has given information about the Indian price of these phones.


 Galaxy Z Fold 5 will come with 12 GB RAM.  It can be purchased in Cream, Ice Blue and Phantom Black colors.  The 256 GB storage with 12 GB RAM costs Rs 1,54,999, while the 512 GB storage costs Rs 1,64,999 and the 1 TB storage costs Rs 1,84,999.


 The price of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 with 256 GB storage with 8 GB RAM is Rs 99,999 and the price of 512 GB storage is Rs 1,09,999.  The phone can be purchased in cream, graphite, lavender and mint colors.  Pre-booking of both the phones has started in India and the sale will start from August 11.



 Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 has OneUI 5.1.1 with Android 13.  It has an Armor aluminum frame.  The phone has a 6.7-inch Full HD Plus Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Fless display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.  The second display is 3.4-inch Super AMOLED with a refresh rate of 60Hz.  There is protection of Gorilla Glass Victus on the display.  It will get up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

 


Talking about the camera, there is a dual rear camera setup in which the primary lens is 12 megapixels ultra wide angle, which has an aperture f / 2.2.  The second lens is a 12-megapixel wide angle.  Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is available with the camera.  There is a 10 megapixel camera in the front.


 Galaxy Z Flip 5 has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS / A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port.  The phone has got a rating of IPX8.  It also has a side mounted fingerprint sensor.  Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 packs a 3700mAh battery with 25W fast charging.  It also has Wireless Charging 2.0 and PowerShare.  The weight of the phone is 187 grams.

 The primary display with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is a 7.6-inch Full HD Plus Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity Flex Display, which comes with 120 Hz refresh rate, (2176 x1812 pixels) resolution, 374 PPI and 21.6:18 aspect ratio.  The secondary display in the phone is 6.2 inch HD Plus Dynamic AMOLED 2X display.


120 Hz refresh rate is also available with secondary display.  There is protection of Gorilla Glass Victus on the display.  The phone gets up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage with a custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.  Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has OneUI 5.1.1 with Android 13.  It gets an Armor aluminum frame and a new flex hinge.


 Talking about the camera support of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, triple rear camera setup is available in the phone.  The 12-megapixel primary camera with the phone is a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle, which has an aperture f / 2.2.  The secondary camera in the phone is 50 megapixels with wide angle (OIS) and the third camera is a 10 megapixel telephoto lens.  Up to 30X space zoom and AI super resolution technology are supported with the phone.  A 10-megapixel selfie camera and a 4-megapixel under-display camera sensor are available with the phone.


 Talking about the connectivity options of Galaxy Z Fold 5, it has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS / A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C port.  There is also an IPX8 rating with the phone.  For security, the phone has a side mounted fingerprint sensor.  Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has support for dual cell 4,400mAh battery and 25W wire fast charging.  The phone also has wireless charging 2.0 and power share.  Regarding fast charging, the company claims that the phone can be charged up to 50 percent in 30 minutes.  The weight of the phone is 253 grams.
