More rains predicted in Delhi , Cylonic circulation near Bhopal
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and yellow alerts for rain today and for the next few days. The water level in the Yamuna river is receding in Delhi but there is a possibility of moderate rains in the coming 3-4 days in Delhi.
According to meteorologists, rains may intensify in Delhi on July 17-18. According to IMD, there may be heavy rains in Odisha and Madhya Pradesh on Sunday i.e. today. There is a possibility of heavy rains in Uttarakhand for the next three days.
IMD said that there is a possibility of rain in many parts of the country. Rainfall over these areas is observed over Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, North Punjab, South Haryana, Northeast Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, South Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat region, Vidarbha, North Interior and Coastal Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, North Tamil Nadu and North Kerala
Apart from this, light to moderate rains are very likely over the above areas during next three or four days over Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland region.
IMD issued orange alert for heavy rains in several districts of Himachal Pradesh. IMD has issued an alert of heavy to very heavy rain.
In the capital Bhopal, once again the clouds continue to build. Right now it is raining in the city. With the activation of the new system, a period of good rains is about to begin in many parts of the state. According to the Meteorological Department, a cyclonic circulation has formed in Southern part of central UP, which will continue in the coming days.
There is a possibility of heavy rains in western Madhya Pradesh for the next two-three days, due to which a yellow alert has been issued in the surrounding areas including the capital, the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department for the next 24 hours. According to them, the possibility of heavy rains is expected in Sehore, Ujjain and Betul districts.
According to the Meteorological Department, these days different systems are active simultaneously in Madhya Pradesh. At present, a cyclonic circulation is over the southern part of central Uttar Pradesh. From there the Dronika line is coming up to South Gujarat.
In Bhopal district, the district administration has started showing vigilance regarding continuous rains . In this regard, Collector Ashish Singh has instructed all the officers of the district to stay in touch for 24 hours and visit their respective areas continuously.
M Khan, senior scientist of the Meteorological Department, said that due to the cyclone moving ahead from the Bay of Bengal and the passage of Monsoon Dronika through MP, the activities of monsoon have started picking up. Because of this, there is a possibility of rain in the districts of Shahdol, Jabalpur, Sagar, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Indore and Ujjain divisions. There may be light showers with thunder and lightning in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal division. On the other hand, on July 18, there is a possibility of another cyclone forming in the Bay of Bengal. Because of this, the process of rain can continue for a week.
