India experiences recent upsurge in covid cases , Government gets cautious

 Corona wreaks havoc as winter progresses

 Along with winter, Corona also knocks in some form or the other. Seeing the rapidly increasing cases of Corona, everyone's concern has increased.  Let us tell you that Covid-19 has taken the lives of five people in the country including UP.  In view of the increasing cases, WHO has also issued an alert.  Corona's new sub-variant JN-1 created a stir in the health department.  Let us tell you that in the last 24 hours, about 335 new cases of Corona have been reported.


 After the death of five people in Uttar Pradesh and Kerala, WHO has issued guidelines along with being on alert mode for many countries including India.  WHO has again issued a new advisory and advised to follow the Corona protocol.  WHO has requested for strict monitoring as well as emphasis on testing in all affected countries.  Let us tell you that an 80 year old man died of Corona in Kerala.  At the same time, the new sub-variant JN-1 of Corona has also been confirmed in a 79-year-old elderly woman.  Since then, there is again an atmosphere of fear among the people regarding Corona.



The Central Government has issued advisory to States in view of a recent upsurge in COVID19 cases and detection of first case of JN.1 variant in India.


States advised to ensure adequate testing including higher number of RT-PCR tests; and send positive samples for genome sequencing to INSACOG laboratories.
