Animal : A blockbuster entertainer - Review

 



Ever since the trailer of Animal was released, the whole atmosphere was created that the film is a blockbuster.  The director had already said that this is the most violent film till date, that is, a violent film in which there will be a lot of bloodshed. The last scene of Bobby Deol created a stir in the trailer but the public was in for a surprise 


 

 This is the story of Ranbir Kapoor who loves his father Anil Kapoor very much.  But father does not love Ranbir that much.  Papa (Anil)  gets attacked and then the aim of Ranbir's life becomes to find that murderer and this film works on this purpose. The story may seem simple, but there are many twists and turns in it and you have to go to the theater to see this.  




 This is a masala entertainer in which there are a lot of whistling and clapping scenes. There are a lot of mass entertaining scenes.. The beginning seems a bit slow but then the film picks up pace and in the first half there are amazing scenes one after the other.  There will be no logic behind most of them. One should not even look for such films but it is fun and a lot of fun. The film becomes a little slow in the second half but then with the entry of Bobby Deol, the fun starts again.  There is too much bloodshed shown in the film and at many places we feel that it could have been reduced a bit.  The film was promoted a lot in the name of Bobby Deol but Bobby does not have that much role in the film but still he dominates whenever he comes.  The family angle has been used in a very emotional way in the film and this makes us connect more with the film.  Although there are some dialogues which are objectionable towards women and can lead to uproar, but filmmakers often do this in the name of cinematic liberty.




 

 Ranbir keeps doing papa papa in the film and by the end of the film, he proves that he is the new daddy of Bollywood in acting.  Ranbir has done an amazing job.  His looks might be like Sanjay Dutt but the way he does action...does emotional scenes...he impresses in every frame...this film will prove to be a game changer in Ranbir's career.  ..The lover boy image will now evaporate...Ranbir has given a tough competition to KGF's Rocky Bhai and here he looks like his big bro...Bobby Deol has done an amazing job in his scenes but they are are few...and very few...they come after the interval and leave before the end of the film...but their work is tremendous. Rashmika Mandanna gets the role  It was felt that what is her role in such a film but Rashmika's character has been developed very well... and her acting is also tremendous... Anil Kapoor is good in the role of Papa of Ranvir.




 Sandeep Vanga Reddy has directed the film well.  It is not an easy task to keep a film of 3 hours 21 minutes entertaining and Sandeep has done this work brilliantly. One does not realize when the two hours of the first half pass. In the second half the film seems to be a little long.


 

 The music of the film is fantastic.  When songs come in the film, we do not get bored even in this long film, rather we enjoy listening to the songs.  Overall, this film is a mass entertainer, yes, there is a lot of bloodshed, otherwise the film will entertain all.
