 Cazuela is a traditional Spanish and Latin American dish, often prepared as a hearty stew. Here's a basic recipe for a chicken cazuela:


**Ingredients:**

- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 large onion, chopped

- 2 bell peppers, sliced

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 tomatoes, chopped

- 1 cup chicken broth

- 1 cup white wine

- 1 cup potatoes, diced

- 1 cup carrots, sliced

- 1 cup green beans, cut into 2-inch pieces

- 1 teaspoon paprika

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh parsley for garnish


**Instructions:**


1. In a large pot or cazuela, heat olive oil over medium heat. Brown the chicken pieces on all sides.


2. Add chopped onions and garlic to the pot. Sauté until the onions are translucent.


3. Stir in sliced bell peppers and tomatoes. Cook for a few minutes until the vegetables start to soften.


4. Pour in chicken broth and white wine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.


5. Add diced potatoes, sliced carrots, and green beans to the cazuela. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.


6. Cover the pot and let the cazuela simmer over low to medium heat for about 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.


7. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary. If the liquid is too thin, you can let it simmer uncovered for a bit to thicken.


8. Once everything is cooked, remove the cazuela from heat. Garnish with fresh parsley.
