Rugby World Cup 2023 : Quarter finals lineup finalized , Aussies exit

 




The Rugby World cup 2023 has reached the quarterfinals knockouts stage after  a pulsating final round of matches!


 England will play Fiji in the quarter-finals, despite Portugal pulling off a stunning upset against the Pacific Islanders to register their first-ever Rugby World Cup win. At one stage it looked that Australia may just get through but Fiji however just about  managed to

 sent the Wallabies home 



Earlier on Sunday, Argentina claimed second place in England’s group by beating Japan 39-27 to set up a quarter-final against Wales. The other two quarter-finals will see France take on South Africa and Ireland tackle New Zealand.



The last round of pool matches were riveting.   Argentina beat Japan 39-27 in a close match . Tonga continued to impress with 45-24 win vs Romania but didnt reach last 8 and and Portugal won a thriller vs Fiji 24-23 but Fiji just about qualified for quarters sending the Aussies home .
