Asian Games 2022 : India reaches 60 medals , good returns from Athletics

 



Indians have won 7 medals today to reach 60 medals in the Asian Games 2022  at Hangzhou . As per latest data , India has won 13 Gold  24 Silver and 23 Bronze. 


Some highlights  in brief as below : 


Decathlon: Tejaswin Shankar maintains his hold on TOP spot at the end of 5 (out of 10) events. Finished on top in 400m clocking 49.67s. With 4260 pts, he has 250 pts lead over 2nd placed athlete. 5 events to go... 



Ancy Sojan wins SILVER medal in Long Jump. Ancy did it in style with her PB: 6.63m 



Parul Chaudhary wins SILVER medal & Priti wins BRONZE medal in 3000m SC. Reigning World Champion Winfred Yavi won Gold. 




ITS A Bronze MEDAL in 4X400m Mixed RELAY Indian quartet of Ajmal, Vithya, Rajesh & Subha win Bronze medal clocking 3:14.34 which is NEW National Record. 


Mixed 4x400 Relay team won bronze for India but later upgraded to Silver as Sri Lanka, the initial silver medallists were disqualified

  Kosar Laddu is a traditional homemade sweet that stands out for its simplicity and rich, rustic flavour. Made with rice flour, jaggery, ghee and aromatic fennel, this laddu is soft, mildly sweet and perfect for festive occasions or as a comforting treat with tea. Ingredients : 1 cup rice flour ½ cup jaggery ½ cup ghee A pinch of salt 1 teaspoon fennel seed powder 1 cup milk Method : First, sift the rice flour thoroughly and transfer it to a mixing bowl. Add the ghee, salt and fennel seed powder, and mix well. Gradually add milk as required and knead to form a smooth dough. Ensure that the dough is neither too soft nor too stiff.
