India picks up 2 Golds in a late surge for big medals in Athletics in Asian games 

Avinash Sable wins GOLD in Athletics - Men's Steeplechase 3000m. An absolute one sided race by the Indian Runner! 


In Shotput Tajinderpal Singh Toor wins GOLD medal He won it with last attempt of 20.36m in the Asian Games 


Meanwhile , Lakshya Sen helps India to start on a winning note in the Badminton final vs China after a come from behind victory 


Brilliant comeback by Lakshya Sen from 8-13 down in the deciding game to win the 1st match for India. Lakshya beat Workd rank 6 Shi Yuqi 22-20, 14-21, 21-18 as  India go 1-0 up against China .


Indis soon went 2-0 up as Chirag and Satwik crushed chinese pair (world no.2) in two  straight sets 21-15 , 21-18 .  


India's Aditi Ashok wins a silver medal for India in golf; becomes the first Indian woman Golfer to win a medal in golf at the AsianGames


Meanwhile,  upset for India in boxing , as Nikhat Zareen had to settle for Bronze medal after suffering a 2-3 defeat against Thailand’s Raksat C.

Manipur violence : Video of brutality relating to women in Manipur goes viral

    Manipur is in the grip of ethnic violence these days, but now tension has spread in the hilly areas of Manipur over a video in which two women are being paraded naked.  According to reports, the video is from May 4 and both the women are from the Kuki community, while the men who are parading the women naked are all from the Meitei community.  Tribal organization Indigenous Tribal Leaders Forum has demanded action against the culprits.  According to the Indigenous Tribal Leaders Forum, the incident took place on May 4 in Kangpokpi district, about 35 km from state capital Imphal.  At the same time, no one has been arrested by the police in this case.  It can be clearly seen in the video that the men are continuously molesting the helpless women who are crying and begging them to leave.  Condemning this heinous act, an ITLF spokesperson demanded that the central and state governments, the National Commission for Women and the National Commission...
