Massive bombings by Isreal Air Force on Palestinian camps in Gaza

The Israeli Air Force has been accused of indiscriminate bombing of Palestinian refugee camps in war-torn Gaza.  Early reports that at least 50 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in an Israeli attack on Jabalia refugee camp in Khan Yunus area of southern Gaza on Monday afternoon.

The Israeli army crossed the border in Khan Yunus area and entered the southern Gaza territory.  Several media outlets also reported that they had started face-to-face combat with Hamas fighters.  Incidentally, after the attack by the armed Palestinian group Hamas on the Gaza border on October 7, the Jabaliya refugee camp was attacked by the Israeli army for the third time.

West Asian media Al Jazeera reported that 37 bodies have been recovered till Monday night.  It is feared that many people are still trapped under the rubble.  About 100,000 people have been displaced in Gaza, home to 230,000 Palestinians, since the Israeli attack that began on October 7.  Israel has stopped supplying them with water, electricity and food.  In this situation, many homeless people have taken shelter in various refugee camps run by UNO including Jabaliya.

Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu declared war on Hamas and announced an all-out military operation in Gaza after the rocket attack by the Al Qasim Brigades of the Palestinian armed group Hamas in the early hours of October 7.  He also warned the Palestinians to leave Gaza.  Since then, there has been a series of missile and airstrikes in Gaza.  Even, the Israeli army has attacked the Palestinian settlements in the West Bank area under the control of the "Palestinian Autonomous Authority".
