Earthquake hits Delhi & Afghanistan on same day
Earthquake tremors have been felt in Delhi-NCR. Due to earthquake tremors the ground kept shaking for a long time. According to the National Seismological Centre, the intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 3.1, while the center is said to be 10 kilometers below the ground in Faridabad, Haryana.
This is the second time in the last 15 days that earthquake tremors have been felt. Earlier on October 3, tremors were felt in many areas of North India including Delhi-NCR. Then the intensity of the earthquake was measured more than 6 and the center was reported to be Nepal. Four tremors were felt one after the other in Nepal

The first shock came at 2:25 pm, when the intensity of the earthquake was 4.6, after this the second shock came at 2:51 pm, then the intensity was measured at 6.2. The third shock came at 3:06 pm, whose intensity was 3.6. Exactly 13 minutes later, there was a fourth shock whose intensity was felt at 3.1.
Earthquake in Afghanistan also on Sunday
On the other hand, strong earthquake tremors were also felt in western Afghanistan on Sunday of 6.3 magnitude. About a week ago too, thousands of people had died due to strong earthquake tremors in the same part of Afghanistan and many villages were completely destroyed.
Herat was the epicenter of earthquake in Afghanistan
According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of Sunday's earthquake in Afghanistan was about 34 kilometers away from Herat and at a depth of 8 kilometers from the surface. So far, one person has died and about 150 people have been injured due to the earthquake in Herat. Relief and rescue work is going on in many other earthquake affected areas.
