Isreal - Hamas war : Trail of destruction & killing continues

 



More than 1,000 people have been killed so far in Israel and Gaza after Hamas terrorists fired more than 3,000 rockets from Gaza into Israel on weekend.  In retaliation, Israeli Defense Forces launched attacks in Gaza.  Hamas terrorists have so far kidnapped many civilians and killed many people.  After this massacre, Israel has also declared a fierce war.


 On Sunday, hundreds of Israelis gathered at a central police station to seek information about their missing family members.  According to the Israeli government, more than 100 people have been captured and held hostage by Hamas militants in Gaza.  However, the exact number of missing people still cannot be said.  Know the big updates of what happened on the second day of the war


 

 Many areas across the country were affected by clashes between the Israeli army and the terrorist group Hamas on the second day of the war.  At least 700 Israelis, including soldiers, have been killed and more than 1,900 injured in the deadliest attack on Israel.  In the Gaza Strip, more than 450 died and about 2,300 were injured after Israel's counter-attack, bringing the total number of deaths to more than 1,000.



 Meanwhile, the Lebanese Islamic group Hezbollah in northern Israel on Sunday opened mortar fire targeting Israeli positions.  The Israeli army responded to the artillery attacks in Lebanon and launched a drone attack on a Hezbollah post near the border.  The situation remains tense in the area.



 Thailand's Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that 11 of its citizens have been captured by Hamas terrorists.  According to reports in the Times of Israel, there are indications that he may have been taken to Gaza.  "They are innocent and have nothing to do with any conflict," the Bangkok Post quoted Thai Prime Minister Shretha Thawisin as saying.  A British citizen has been reported missing following an attack by Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on a music festival near Gaza, according to Israel's Embassy in the United Kingdom.


News organization CNN reported that at least three Americans have been killed after Hamas' attack on Israel.  France's Foreign Ministry confirmed the death of a French citizen and Ukraine's Foreign Ministry said two of its citizens died in Israel, AFP news agency reported.



 An official of the Nepal Embassy in Israel told news agency ANI that at least 10 Nepalese students have been killed.



 The United States government said Sunday it would send additional equipment and supplies, including weapons, to support the Israel Defence Forces.  President Joe Biden assured Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that more aid is on the way.  Additionally, United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak expressed strong support for Israel to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu following recent attacks by Hamas.



 Fighting with Hamas continues in many areas of Israel

 The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday that its soldiers are fighting with the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas inside Israel.  Hamas also confirmed fighting in Israeli areas bordering the Gaza Strip, including Ofakim, Sderot, Yad Mordechai, Kfar Azza, Berri, Yateid and Kisufim.
