Rugby WC 2023 : France, Wales , England and Ireland win their final pool match to move to quarters

France dominated Italy from the start and has moved  to the Rugby World Cup 2023 quarter-finals on the back of four impressive Pool A wins in a row, after seeing off Italy by a convincing margin of 60-7 in front of a packed and roaring  crowd

France absolutely dominated the match with  wingers Damian Penaud ,  Louis Bielle-Biarrey  ,  full-back Thomas Ramos proving to be the main heroes as the Azzuri hardly threatened.

Meanwhile Wales moved to next round .

Winger Louis Rees-Zammit scored a hat-trick of tries as Wales rugby beat Georgia rugby 43-19 to secure first place in Rugby World Cup Pool C on Saturday and a quarter-final against Argentina or Japan.

Wales went into halftime with a 17-7 lead after tries by  Tomas Francis and fullback Liam Williams but then faced a spirited fightback from the Georgians

Rees-Zammit and centre George North scored late tries to extend the Welsh lead. Flyhalf Sam Costelow,  kicked 14 points for Wales to ensure the win .

On the other hand  England had a sluggish outing vs Samoa but managed  to head to the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals with a full house of Pool D wins.

Danny Care's 73rd-minute dart from the base of a scrum was the decisive score in an 18-17 victory.

However  England struggled right through and though they have comfortably reached the quarter finals , they will face the tough challenge of Fiji next .

In the last game  Ireland had a good win over Scotland 36-14 to move to the quarterfinals where they will face the tough challenge of New Zealand  in the quarters .
