Rugby WC 2023 : France, Wales , England and Ireland win their final pool match to move to quarters
France dominated Italy from the start and has moved to the Rugby World Cup 2023 quarter-finals on the back of four impressive Pool A wins in a row, after seeing off Italy by a convincing margin of 60-7 in front of a packed and roaring crowd
France absolutely dominated the match with wingers Damian Penaud , Louis Bielle-Biarrey , full-back Thomas Ramos proving to be the main heroes as the Azzuri hardly threatened.
Meanwhile Wales moved to next round .
Winger Louis Rees-Zammit scored a hat-trick of tries as Wales rugby beat Georgia rugby 43-19 to secure first place in Rugby World Cup Pool C on Saturday and a quarter-final against Argentina or Japan.
Wales went into halftime with a 17-7 lead after tries by Tomas Francis and fullback Liam Williams but then faced a spirited fightback from the Georgians
Rees-Zammit and centre George North scored late tries to extend the Welsh lead. Flyhalf Sam Costelow, kicked 14 points for Wales to ensure the win .
On the other hand England had a sluggish outing vs Samoa but managed to head to the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals with a full house of Pool D wins.
Danny Care's 73rd-minute dart from the base of a scrum was the decisive score in an 18-17 victory.
However England struggled right through and though they have comfortably reached the quarter finals , they will face the tough challenge of Fiji next .
In the last game Ireland had a good win over Scotland 36-14 to move to the quarterfinals where they will face the tough challenge of New Zealand in the quarters .
