Indian batters dominate on day 2 vs England with 175 run lead

India led by 175 runs at the end of the second day.  They scored 302 runs batting all day on Friday.  Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel were unbeaten at the end of the day.  India score 421/7 in reply to England's 246 runs in the Hyderabad Test.

Axar hit two fours and a six off the last three balls of the day.  This example seems to be enough to understand the intensity of the match in which India is playing.  All the batsmen except Ravichandran Ashwin and Srikar Bharat got out while playing big shots.  At the end of the day, Jadeja was unbeaten on a belligerent 81 runs.  Axar is also unbeaten on 35 runs having played some spectacular shots .  India will try to add some more runs on Saturday morning.

Jaiswal was dismissed for 80 runs in the first over itself by Root after hitting a 4 . Gill was out soon for 23 chipping one to Ducket   Despite picking up these 2 wickets, England could not return to the match.  India's Lokesh Rahul and Shreyas Iyer played aggressively.

England were bowled out for 246 on the first day of the Test, which began on Thursday.  In reply, India scored 119 runs after losing the wicket of Rohit Sharma.  Jaiswal and Shubaman were in the crease.  But these two batsmen got out at the beginning of the second day.

After playing well in the first session, Rahul was expected to score a century in the second session.  But he and Shreyas  got out.  They made a pair of 64 runs.  Shreyas got out after scoring 35 runs skying a ball to deep mid wicket .  Rahul and Jadeja then made a partnership of 65 runs.  Rahul got out after 86 runs in similar manner as Shreyas .

Joe Root is the most successful bowler in England.  He took 2 wickets with 77 runs.  Root bowled 24 overs.  Tom Hartley, who came down to play the debut match, bowled 25 overs and took 2 wickets with 131 runs.  Jack Leach also bowled 25 overs.  He took one wicket with 54 runs.  Rehan Ahmed bowled 23 overs and took one wicket with 103 runs.  Pacer Mark Wood is yet to get a wicket.  He conceded  43 runs in 13 overs.   Ashwin got runout in a  misunderstanding with Jadeja.

England's inexperienced spin bowling attack is causing them problems . They need to play their best available bowlers . India now at 421/7 is in the driver's seat and it will take a big effort from England to save the match from here
