Ingredients:


- 500g whole fish (cleaned and scaled, such as trout or sea bass)

- 1 cup bamboo shoots, thinly sliced

- 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1-inch piece of ginger, julienned

- 2-3 green onions, chopped

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

- 1 tablespoon sesame oil

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh cilantro for garnish


Instructions:


1. **Prepare the Bamboo Shoots:**

   - Clean and thinly slice bamboo shoots. If using fresh bamboo shoots, blanch them in boiling water for a few minutes to remove bitterness.


2. **Prepare the Fish:**

   - Clean and scale the whole fish. Make a few diagonal cuts on both sides of the fish for better flavor penetration.


3. **Marinate the Fish:**

   - In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and julienned ginger. Rub this marinade all over the fish, including inside the cuts. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.


4. **Prepare the Bamboo Steamer:**

   - Set up a bamboo steamer. If you don't have one, a regular steamer will work. Line the steamer with parchment paper or banana leaves to prevent sticking.
