India outplayed Ireland in the 2nd T20I at Dublin and took an unassailable 2-0 series lead . Sent in to bat first India scored a formidable 185/5 and then restricted the hosts to 152/8 .

Indian batters started in belligerent fashion with Jaiswal showing aggresive instincts but got out cheaply for 18 off 11 balls and he was soon followed by Tilak Verma (1) as both the southpaws got out to high  pull shots .

Vice captain of this series Ruturaj Gaikwad and Sanju Samson got into a productive stand as both looked in great nick . Ruturaj played several good backfoot shots including backfoot punches and pulls while Samson played some gorgeous shots down th ground in his 26 ball 40 before he was played on .

Gaikwad was finally caught off slower ball of McCarthy for 58 and India went through a quiet  period of few overs before Rinku Singh and Shivam Dube turned it on with belligerent hitting in the last two overs . Rinku , batting for the 1st time in T20Is scored a crisp 38 off 21 balls  with 2 sixes towards the end while Dube hit two back to back sixes in his 22 of 16 balls as India reached 185 balls

In reply Ireland lost Stirling and Tucker for noughts caught off pull shots off a quick Prasidh Krishna after which Tector was bamboozled by Bishnoi's googly . Andy Balberni was fighting a lone battle with a gallant innings of 72 off 51balls  as he smashed few huge  sixes but did not get much support from the middle order as Ireland was falling behind the asking rate rapidly  .

After Balberni departed Mark Adiar hit some lusty blows in his 23 off 15 balls but India were too far ahead and finally won the game by 33 runs with Bumrah, Prasidh and  Bishnoi taking 2 wickets   Rinku Singh adjudged the player of the match .
