 **Best Seasons in Montenegro:**

1. **Summer (June to August):** Summer is the most popular time to visit Montenegro, especially along the coastal areas. The weather is warm and sunny, making it perfect for beach activities, swimming in the Adriatic Sea, and enjoying outdoor festivals and events.

2. **Spring (April to May) and Autumn (September to October):** These shoulder seasons offer pleasant weather with milder temperatures, making it ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities without the summer crowds. Spring is especially beautiful as nature awakens with blooming flowers.

3. **Winter (November to March):** If you enjoy winter sports, Montenegro has several ski resorts in the northern part of the country, like Kolašin and Žabljak. Winter is a great time for skiing and snowboarding in the mountains.

**Cuisines of Montenegro:**

1. **Seafood:** Due to its Adriatic coastline, seafood is a significant part of Montenegrin cuisine. Try dishes like grilled fish, seafood risotto, or black risotto made with cuttlefish ink.

2. **Njeguški Steak:** A specialty of Montenegro, this dish features smoked and dried ham and cheese served with homemade bread. It's a savory delight.

3. **Kacamak:** A hearty dish made from cornmeal, potatoes, and cheese. It's often served with yogurt and can be found in both coastal and inland regions.

4. **Pršut:** Montenegro's version of prosciutto, typically served thinly sliced as an appetizer.

5. **Pljeskavica:** A Balkan-style hamburger made from minced meat (usually a mix of beef and pork), spices, and herbs, often served in a flatbread with various toppings.

6. **Burek:** A popular pastry dish filled with minced meat, cheese, or potatoes. It's a quick and tasty snack often found in bakeries.

7. **Cicvara:** A polenta-like dish made from cornmeal and served with cheese or yogurt, typically found in the northern regions of Montenegro.

8. **Rakija:** This strong fruit brandy is a common aperitif or digestif in Montenegro. It's often homemade and comes in various fruit flavors.

9. **Pita:** A pastry filled with various ingredients, such as cheese, meat, or spinach, similar to the Greek Spanakopita.

10. **Krstac Wine:** Montenegro produces its own wine, and Krstac is a popular local white wine variety.

11. **Pomegranate Juice:** Freshly squeezed pomegranate juice is a refreshing and healthy beverage commonly found in Montenegro.

Remember that Montenegro's cuisine varies by region, with coastal areas having a stronger influence from Mediterranean cuisine, while the north has heartier, mountain-inspired dishes. Don't forget to pair your meals with stunning Montenegrin wines or a glass of rakija for a true taste of the country.

Airlines

 Montenegro had one major airline

1. **Montenegro Airlines:** Montenegro Airlines was the national flag carrier of Montenegro. It operated both domestic and international flights, connecting Montenegro to various European destinations. However, please note that as of my last update, Montenegro Airlines had faced financial difficulties, and its operations were temporarily suspended.

Keep in mind that the aviation industry can change rapidly, and new airlines can emerge while existing ones may face challenges.
