Indian Government cuts down on LPG Cylinders prices to the delight of citizens

  


Great news  before the festive season .  On this day, the central government reduced the consumption of household cooking gas in one blow.  This decision has been taken to support  the women of the country.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi's gift to the women of the country before Rakhi Bandhan.  The price of cooking gas has been reduced by Rs 200 per cylinder.  But Prime Minister Narendra Modi is bringing more benefits for  sisters .  The cost of cooking gas under the Ujjwala Yojana scheme has been further reduced.  The clearance was given in the Union Cabinet meeting on Thursday.



 Announcing this on Tuesday, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the Ujjwala scheme was launched to help backward women since Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power in 2014.  More than 9 crore 58 lakh women across the country have benefited due to this scheme.  At the same time, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in a message on social media ,  on the occasion of Rakhi Bandhan festival, the Union Cabinet meeting decided to reduce the price of cooking gas for domestic use by Rs 200.  Nirmala Sitharaman also thanked the Prime Minister.


 The Union Cabinet met on Tuesday.  It has been decided to reduce the price of cooking gas to Rs 200 per cylinder.  It has been decided to give additional subsidy of Rs 200 for cooking gas under Ujjwala scheme.  From now on under the Ujjwala scheme subsidy of Rs 400 per cylinder will be given.  Anurag Thakur also said that a decision has been taken to provide free gas connection to 75 lakh women of the country in the cabinet meeting.
