England take unassailable lead in T20I series vs Windies winning 3rd game by 3 wkts

After losing the ODI series, England has started to dominate the West Indies. Just a week ago, facing criticism, the English team has turned the tables, defeating the hosts three times in six days to take a 3-0 lead in the T20 series. In the third T20 match, despite losing early wickets, England secured a win with four balls to spare.

The third T20 match between England and the West Indies took place late Thursday night. English captain Jos Buttler won the toss and opted to bowl first. The bowlers made full use of this opportunity, reducing the West Indies to 35/5, with Saqib Mahmood taking three wickets, Archer bowling Nicholas Pooran, and Shai Hope being run out.

In a challenging situation, captain Rovman Powell steadied the West Indies with a 54-run innings off 41 balls. Romario Shepherd (30) provided valuable support, and Alzarri Joseph, who was banned a week ago for misbehavior, contributed a useful 21 runs off 19 balls. Thanks to their efforts, the West Indies managed a competitive total of 145/8. For England, Saqib Mahmood and Jamie Overton each took three wickets.

Chasing a target of 146, England got off to a shaky start, losing Phil Salt, captain Jos Buttler, and Jacob Bethell for 37 runs. Will Jacks made 32, but was dismissed with the team at 75. When the match seemed tense, Sam Curran (41) and Liam Livingstone (39) stepped up, bringing England close to victory. Sam Curran was dismissed at 123, followed by Dan Mousley, who scored eight. Livingstone who survived multiple chances and Jamie Overton (4) pushed the score to 143. After Livingstone's dismissal, Overton and Rehan Ahmed (5) took England to the target, finishing at 149/7 in 19.2 overs to win the match.
