After their latest Test tour of Pakistan ,  England have gone to the West Indies  with their white ball squad to play a series of 3 Odis & 3 T20Is .

The first two ODIs are played at Antigua . West Indies won the first game while England chased down a formidable total in the 2nd game for the series to go to a decider.

In the first ODI  , England batters managed only 209 in 45.1 overs . Their top order could not fire as Salt (18) , Jacks (19) , Cox (17) & Bethel (27) failed to make use of their starts . It was left to Liam Livingstone (48) and Sam Curran (37) to repair the innings but they never could accelarate to the desired effect . The West Indies bowlers did very well with Motie claiming 4 wickets and 2 each going to Forde , Alzarri Joseph & Seales .

West Indies had to face a DLS target of 150 plus in 35 overs due to rains and Evin Lewis with a destructive innings of 94 in 69 balls comprising  of 5 4s anf 8  explosive  sixes struck with absolute  venom !!  King made 30 and West Indies  cantered home by 8 wickets .

The 2nd match saw a high scoring game . West Indies  batting first was helped by a fine classy  100 by Shai Hope (117) after tge openers fell early.  Carty (71) played well while fine cameos came from Heytmer (24) , Chase (22) & Forde (23*) . Rutherford played a blistering knock of 54 as West Indies  reached a formidable 328/6.

However  England started sedately though Salt (59) & Bethel (54) hit 50s . The tourists were well behind the  asking rate in the 1st 20 overs . However in stepped the current ODI captain Liam  Livingstone and from the word go was at his belligerent best  . With explosive hitting Livingstone  rattled up 124 in 85 balls with  9 mighty sixers . He was well supported by a 52 not out from Sam Curran as England  raced home in 47.5 overs to level the series in style and set up a great finale  . Livingstone won the player of the match in the 2nd ODI.
