Prawn in Lemon Butter Sauce

This dish is a delicious combination of succulent prawns cooked in a rich and tangy lemon butter sauce. The balance of citrusy freshness, buttery smoothness, and a hint of spice makes it a delightful appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients:

  • 300g prawns (cleaned and deveined)
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter (as needed)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • A small amount of chopped coriander leaves
  • Thinly sliced onion rings
  • 1 carrot (sliced into thin rounds)
  • 1 cucumber (sliced into thin rounds)

Instructions:

  1. Lightly sauté the prawns in a little butter and set them aside.
  2. In the same pan, heat the lemon juice over low heat and gradually add butter while stirring continuously.
  3. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Add black pepper powder and mix well before adding the sautéed prawns.
  5. Stir in chopped coriander leaves and a little salt to taste.
  6. Meanwhile, lightly steam the carrot slices.
  7. Arrange the prawns on a serving plate and garnish with the steamed carrots, onion rings, and cucumber slices.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

This simple yet flavorful dish pairs well with rice, bread, or as a standalone appetizer.
