Truck Driver makes 4-10 lacs income from youtube videos

 



Rajesh Rawani, a veteran truck driver with over 20 years of experience, has recently gained unexpected fame online. Despite spending most of his career on the road, his love for cooking led him to become a popular YouTuber. He now runs the widely-followed channel called R Rajesh Vlogs.


Hailing from Jamtara, Jharkhand, Rajesh has amassed a significant following, with over 1.86 million subscribers. His success on YouTube has even enabled him to buy a new home.


In a recent interview, Rajesh opened up about his financial situation, mentioning that he is in the process of building his first house. He also shared that he had survived a serious accident that injured his hand. Despite this challenge, he continued driving due to his family obligations and the ongoing house construction.


Speaking with Sidharth Kannan, Rajesh revealed that his earnings as a truck driver range from ₹25,000 to ₹30,000 per month. However, his income as a YouTube influencer is more variable, typically between ₹4-5 lakh per month, with his highest monthly earnings reaching ₹10 lakh.


Reflecting on his first viral video, Rajesh recalled, "I posted a video with a voiceover, but people kept asking me to reveal my face. So, my son made a video showing my face, and it got 4.5 lakh views in just one day."



Rajesh highlighted the crucial role his family plays in helping him manage both his trucking job and his YouTube channel. He recounted how his father, also a driver, was the sole provider for their family of five. Despite his father's hard work, the monthly allowance of ₹500 was often insufficient, forcing them to rely on loans.


In his latest YouTube video, posted at 11:30 AM on August 18, Rajesh discusses the floods in Bihar. The video, filmed the previous day, shows Rajesh driving to Guwahati, with 850 km left to reach his destination.
