Indian Armed Forces Launch ‘Operation Sindoor’, Target Terrorist Infrastructure in Pakistan & Pak occupied Kashmir
In a precise and carefully calibrated military action, the Indian Armed Forces have launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, striking terrorist infrastructure located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. These sites were being used to plan and coordinate terrorist attacks against India.
A total of nine (9) locations were targeted. The operation was conducted in a focused, measured, and non-escalatory manner. Importantly, no Pakistani military installations were involved in these strikes. India exercised significant restraint in both the selection of targets and the manner in which the operation was carried out.
This action follows the recent barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in the tragic loss of 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali national. Today’s response underscores India’s commitment to ensuring that those responsible for such heinous acts are brought to justice.
A comprehensive briefing on ‘Operation Sindoor’ will be provided later today.
