Hot Pepper Crab is a flavorful and spicy seafood dish that combines crispy fried crab with a bold, peppery sauce. Ingredients

  • Crab – 300g (cleaned and cut)
  • Onion – 25g (chopped into chunks)
  • Capsicum – 30g (diced)
  • Garlic – 10g (minced)
  • Ginger – 5g (thinly sliced)
  • Dried red chilies – 2 (chopped)
  • Black pepper powder – 5g
  • Red chili paste – 25g
  • Chili sauce – 10g
  • Fresh coriander – 5g (chopped)
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – for frying
  • Water – as needed

Method

  1. Prepare the Crab: Wash and clean the crab thoroughly.
  2. Fry the Crab: Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the crab until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: In the same pan, add a little oil. Sauté the garlic until fragrant. Then, add the ginger and chopped dried chilies, frying them lightly.
  4. Add Vegetables: Stir in the diced capsicum and cook for a short time.
  5. Spice it Up: Add the red chili paste and chili sauce, stirring well. Sprinkle salt and black pepper powder over the mixture and mix thoroughly.
  6. Combine with Crab: Return the fried crab to the pan and coat it well with the sauce.
  7. Simmer: Add a little water and let it simmer over low heat until the flavors blend.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped coriander on top and remove from heat. Serve hot with steamed white rice.

This dish brings together heat, spice, and the delicate taste of crab, making it a must-try for seafood lovers.
