Cuisine : Cauliflower Cutlets: A Delicious Winter Treat- How to prepare
These cauliflower cutlets are flavourful, crispy, and perfect as a tea-time snack or starter. Soft on the inside and golden on the outside, they’re sure to be a hit with everyone.
Ingredients
- Cauliflower – 1 medium
- Potatoes – 2 medium (boiled)
- Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Green chillies – 1–2 (finely chopped)
- Ginger paste – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
- All-purpose flour – 2 tbsp (or as needed)
- Bread crumbs – as required (for coating)
- Oil – for frying
Method
- Wash and chop the cauliflower, then boil it until soft.
- In a mixing bowl, add the boiled cauliflower, boiled potatoes, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger paste, salt, black pepper, turmeric powder, and chaat masala.
- Mix everything thoroughly using your hands to form a smooth mixture.
- Shape the mixture into small balls and then flatten them to form cutlets.
- Spread the flour on a plate and coat each cutlet evenly with it.
- Roll the flour-coated cutlets in bread crumbs to create a crisp outer layer.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the cutlets over medium heat until they turn golden brown.
- Place the fried cutlets on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Serve the hot and crispy cauliflower cutlets immediately. Perfect for winter evenings!
