Cuisine : Cauliflower Cutlets: A Delicious Winter Treat- How to prepare

 


These cauliflower cutlets are flavourful, crispy, and perfect as a tea-time snack or starter. Soft on the inside and golden on the outside, they’re sure to be a hit with everyone.


Ingredients

  • Cauliflower – 1 medium
  • Potatoes – 2 medium (boiled)
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Green chillies – 1–2 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger paste – 1 tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala – 1/2 tsp
  • All-purpose flour – 2 tbsp (or as needed)
  • Bread crumbs – as required (for coating)
  • Oil – for frying

Method

  1. Wash and chop the cauliflower, then boil it until soft.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the boiled cauliflower, boiled potatoes, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger paste, salt, black pepper, turmeric powder, and chaat masala.
  3. Mix everything thoroughly using your hands to form a smooth mixture.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls and then flatten them to form cutlets.
  5. Spread the flour on a plate and coat each cutlet evenly with it.
  6. Roll the flour-coated cutlets in bread crumbs to create a crisp outer layer.
  7. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cutlets over medium heat until they turn golden brown.
  8. Place the fried cutlets on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Serve the hot and crispy cauliflower cutlets immediately. Perfect for winter evenings!
